The HP 44711A is a 20-Channel High-Speed FET-Multiplexer, designed as a plugin for the HP 3852A Data Acquisition / Control Unit.
Can be directly connected to the HP 44702 13-bit high-speed voltmeter by interconnecting the two by a dedicated interface bus.
This interconnection allows the 13-bit voltmeter/ 24-channel high-speed FET MUX combination to operate as a scanner system independent of the HP 3852 A mainframe.
The unit is used to switch signals for the following types of measurements:
- Voltage
- Current
- 4-wire and 2-wire resistance
- Temperature
